Our centre offers high-quality psychological services, providing evidence-based therapies to support individuals and families facing emotional and mental health challenges. We ensure a compassionate, professional, and confidential space for those seeking support. This team is led by an HCPC-registered clinical psychologist.
We offer short-term (assessment and up to 8 sessions), medium-term (assessment and up to 16 sessions), and long-term (assessment and 17 sessions or more) psychological support. Often, we are able to predict how many sessions it will take to address a specific issue after an assessment is conducted; however, this may not always be possible, especially if the person has a complex traumatic history and/or neurodiversity.

Person-Centred Therapy: We prioritise what you would like to work on. This could involve focusing on the here and now—such as current feelings and thoughts—or processing past events that still impact your wellbeing. We will take the time to listen and understand you as a person, as well as the difficulties you would like to address. We tailor the intervention based on your needs, wants, and values.
Trauma-Informed Therapy: Our centre adopts a trauma-informed care approach, ensuring that our psychological services, training, and consultations are grounded in an understanding of the impact of trauma. We prioritise safety, trust, and empowerment, creating a supportive environment where individuals feel heard and respected. Our team integrates evidence-based practices to help clients and professionals recognise, process, and respond to trauma in a way that fosters resilience and healing.
Neurodiversity-Affirmative Therapy: We embrace a Neurodiversity-Affirmative Approach, recognising and valuing the diverse ways in which minds work. We provide psychological services to people diagnosed with or exhibiting traits of autism, ADHD, and other cognitive differences—without pathologising their experiences. Our approach focuses on strengths, accommodations, and self-advocacy. As part of this approach, we are happy to offer calls with video off and live chat to accommodate clients’ needs.
Anti-Racist Therapy: Our centre upholds an anti-racist approach. We acknowledge the impact of systemic racism on mental health and strive to challenge discrimination while fostering empowerment and healing. Through continuous learning, advocacy, and evidence-based practices, we are committed to providing support that is respectful, affirming, and rooted in social justice. The practice is led by a Muslim woman of ethnic minority background.
LGBTQ+ Friendly Therapy: We adopt an LGBTQ+ friendly approach, offering a safe, inclusive, and supportive space for individuals of all gender identities and sexual orientations. We recognise the unique challenges faced by LGBTQ+ individuals and tailor our services accordingly.
